2025 in review
More than 3,600 sites across the UK are now part of the RED™ network. Each one chose clearer pricing, fewer hidden charges, and a better sense of where their money goes.

As 2025 comes to a close, it feels like a good moment to pause and notice what’s changed. This year, something simple became clear: when energy is easier to understand, it works better for everyone.
More than 3,600 sites across the UK are now part of the RED™ network. Each one chose clearer pricing, fewer hidden charges, and a better sense of where their money goes.
A network built by people choosing clarity
Our customers are diverse, from hotels to schools to major sports facilities. Every new site on RED™ strengthens the whole network, coast to coast. Businesses get more certainty, and generators keep more of what their power is worth. This way, less value leaks away into invisible layers.
The team grew, too. We doubled in size this year, from 40 to more than 80 people working across engineering, operations, partnerships, customer success, and marketing. Different roles that all have the same aim: make energy simpler.
In July, we marked four years of tem. Four years of building something steadier, clearer, and fairer than what came before.
Small improvements, real difference
With all that change comes hard work, and in 2025, we shipped 58 product updates across RED™.
We listened to our customers and generators, giving them exactly what they need for the best possible experience. Nothing flashy. These are all practical changes that improve customer experience.
From clearer pricing to charges shown upfront, and bills that explain themselves, this is the kind of work you only really notice when it’s missing. And when it’s there, things just make more sense.
Being part of bigger conversations
This year also took us to new places.
From Silverstone to industry events, generator lunches to conversations in Westminster, the same message kept coming through. People want pricing they can trust. And systems that don’t hide behind complexity. That’s what we’re advocating and building.
Those moments were signs that expectations are changing, and we’re driving it forward with the help of the community we’re building.
What that looks like, in real life
The most important outcomes didn’t happen on a stage, though. Our community is growing strong, across the UK, one site at a time.
That looks like a rugby club that stayed open thanks to the money they saved.
That looks like a school hiring a new teacher because their energy bill wasn’t sky-high.
When businesses keep more money, the movement grows. People can invest back in their communities, focusing on what keeps the UK ticking.
Thanks for being part of it
To every business, generator, partner, and new tem team member who joined us this year:
Thank you.
You chose fewer surprises. You backed clearer pricing. And you helped prove that a fairer energy system is something we can build, together.
We’ll keep going in 2026, improving what sits underneath and keeping energy clear, predictable, and fair.
