What RED™ gives BioDynamic

Pricing you can plan around

RED™ removes the wholesale mark-ups that used to erode BioDynamic’s returns. BioDynamic gets paid directly for what it generates, with pricing it can plan around, instead of whatever was left once each intermediary in the chain had taken its share.

Straight back into the plant

The extra 15% doesn’t sit on a balance sheet. BioDynamic puts it into new technology, further carbon reduction, and expanding what the site can do.

BioDynamic generated 19,045 MWh through RED™ and earned 15% more than under its previous arrangement. That income is going toward expanding the plant’s logistics, bringing waste in and taking organic fertiliser out by barge and rail, alongside the River Trent and the railway line the site already sits next to.
