Here's what's new

1. Industry charges changing from Wednesday, 1st of April

A couple of charges on your customers' bills are changing from April. None of these are set or controlled by tem. But we want to make sure you and your customers are never caught off guard.

Nuclear RAB levy — for clients with Nuclear RAB as a passthrough: the rate increases to £4.683/MWh from April, around £1/MWh more than the current rate. It will continue to appear as a separate line item on their May bill.

Climate Change Levy (CCL) — increasing from £0.00775/kWh to £0.00801/kWh from April. First change since 2021; the rate had been frozen for five years. Existing CCL exemptions remain unchanged.

TNUoS — FY2026 rates come into effect from Wednesday, 1st of April. We'll be following up with a dedicated email on TNUoS shortly.

2. P442 is now live and automatic

P442 is now automatically included on all quotes.

ll new tenders and renewals will now show a "RED Plus Benefit" line on quotes — there's no minimum consumption threshold.

You don't need to do anything differently. If a site qualifies, it shows up.

The only thing to check before signing: sites with an EII exemption are not eligible.

The allocation, settlement, and ESNA submission is all handled end-to-end by tem. From 1 April, RED Plus savings will appear as a monthly line item on customers' invoices — and quotes will show the benefit as a p/kWh rate rather than £/month.

3. CSV quotes now available in the Pricing Agent

You can now pull a CSV covering all sites and MPANs for a single customer using the new "Request CSV" button in the Pricing Agent. The file is sent to you by email rather than a direct download, to keep customer data secure.

Simple. Fast. No back-and-forth.

4. 24/7 pricing and e-signatures

When a customer is ready to sign, that moment matters.

Being able to say "we can lock that in tonight if you want" moves at your client's pace — not the other way around.

E-signature means no printing, no scanning, no chasing. A customer can sign from their phone at midnight if that's when it suits them. The fewer steps between yes and done, the better.

5. New: One customer login across all tem accounts

We’re updating our portal so customers can use one email address to access multiple tem accounts. No more separate email addresses, no more logging in and out. Just one login, with full visibility across all linked sites and accounts.

It's available now for customers going live with new contracts, and rolling out to existing customers with multiple accounts over the coming weeks.
